Wireless Access to Your OrderManager Sales Channel
SpaceWorks
OrderManager offers a convenient wireless access option. It provides
your business buyers with real-time, 24x7 access to key order management
functions (e.g., place orders, search product catalog, checking
inventory availability, tracking order status, and more) directly
from a handheld wireless device. Information delivered via OrderManager's
wireless access option is fully integrated with you back-end systems.
Anytime,
Anywhere e-Business
Adding
wireless capabilities to your OrderManager site, enables users to
perform critical business tasks from nearly any location, helping
them to be more effective and responsive while away from the office.
A sales rep can check the status of a client's order before going
into a sales call, for instance. Or, the rep can place and confirm
an order on his wireless handheld device right in front of the client.
OrderManager's wireless access option empowers reps to take immediate
action in the simplest possible way.

OrderManager's add-on wireless capabilities can also be combined
with other technologies to significantly enhance productivity. You
can treamline your inventory management, for example, by combining
OrderManager's wireless access with technology that enables wireless
devices to read bar codes. Your inventory specialist can first scan
product bar codes to determine stock levels. Then, using the same
wireless device, place orders for additional stock from the floor
via Wireless OrderManager. This is a timesaving benefit you can
also make available to your trading partners.
Platforms
Supported
OrderManager's
access option supports the most current platforms in wireless products
today. Currently supported and tested Personal Digital Assistant

III. For the Palm Pilots V and III, a wireless modem is also required.
Software
Requirements
OrderManager's
wireless access option supports Wireless Application Protocol (WAP)
and Wireless Markup Language (WML), the prevalent protocol for wireless

OrderManager are minimal:
