MarketingManager
SpaceWorks
MarketingManager is an optional application of SpaceWorks
Web BusinessManager Suite. It can be licensed individually and
added at any time.
Add
Targeted Marketing to Your B2B Web Sales Site
SpaceWorks
MarketingManager allows you to target marketing promotions to specific
business buyers on your SpaceWorks B2B e-Commerce channel. You can
even send selected business customers targeted e-mails that alert
them to time-sensitive buying opportunities and provide all the
information they need to act immediately.
Build
Actionable Customer Profiles
All
the information you need to build actionable client profiles can be
captured using MarketingManager, including:
- Account attributes (identity, geographic location, customer
base, customer product line)
- Account activity (month-to-date and year-to-date purchases,
annual purchases, payment history, outstanding balance, account
hold, etc.)
- Order history (What products were bought in the past,
in what volumes, at what prices and at what times?)
- Clicking history (number and times a buyer browsed specific
products and viewed promotions)
- Promotion response (What buying opportunities did the
buyer respond to in the past?)
Create
Rules-Based Promotions
With
MarketingManager, you can use business rules to define exactly when
a marketing message or buying opportunity should be presented to
a buyer and in what form. Rules are based on defining specific conditions
that should exist before a promotion is offered (e.g., if a customer
is located in Northeast region and has spent $40,000 in the last
30 days). MarketingManager provides the ability to offer different
types of promotions, including dollars off or a percentage off a
product or entire order. The discount is automatically reflected
on the order form when the buyer selects the product on promotion.
Develop
Targeted Online Promotions
All
types of targeted online marketing promotions can be developed using
MarketingManager, including:
- Promotional Displays: Ad(s) on the home page that promote
a buying opportunity suitable for that specific account and/or
user.
- Link-Based Promotions: Cross-sell or up-sell buying opportunity
links displayed near the product information within OrderManager.
- Order Forms: Targeted buying opportunities presented
on the user's order form.
- E-mails: Time-sensitive buying opportunities e-mailed
to users that allow them to initiate a purchase even when they
aren't logged onto your website.
Measure
The Effectiveness Of Your Online Marketing
MarketingManager
customer profile data can be accessed with our ReportManager
reporting and analysis application, allowing you to create marketing
analysis and reports. ReportManager provides a number of predefined
reports for sales and marketing analysis as well as the capability
to create adhoc reports. By querying MarketingManager data, you
can analyze buyer profile information to drive key marketing decisions
and improve your online marketing.
Incorporate
Buyer Feedback Through Online SurveysMarketing
Using
the extensive survey capabilities of our OrderManager
application, you can collect additional buyer information that can
be incorporated into MarketingManager-driven analysis and promotions.
For example, surveys can be developed to gauge buyer interest in
a new product or get feedback on a promotion. The survey functionality
is flexible enough to allow different surveys for different customer
segments. You can create surveys in different languages as well
as develop survey profiles and reports based on aggregated data.

"Personalization can help organizations
form strong, lasting relationships with customers. Users feel comfortable
and welcome. This can help strengthen business relationships. The
technology can also help customers by alerting them to costly mistakes."
says Cormac Foster, personalization analyst at Jupiter Research
Line56, November 2000

"Personalization for B2B is very
different than in a B2C environment, with B2B centered around improving
existing process performance rather than merchandising products."
AMR Research, The Report on e-Commerce Applications, May
2000

MarketingManager facilitates targeted,
rules-based marketing in which customer activity can be accurately
captured so user-specific profiles can be built. This allows targeted
advertising or promotions to be directed to specific business customers
based on buying habits and individual interest.
