23, 2001 Increased integration capabilities and greater use of open standards mark the latest release of SpaceWorks Inc.'s business-to-business sell-side software suite. SpaceWorks BusinessManager Suite Version 6.2 is the result of the Rockville, Md., company's expanded partnership with integration software vendor WebMethods Inc. The new SpaceWorks suite can be integrated with any third-party enterprise application integration software, increasing integration options between the SpaceWorks offerings and back-end systems, e-marketplaces, private trading exchanges, e-procurement systems and other trading partners. Version 6.2 also adds to the suite's J2EE-based architecture, which increases an enterprise's application interoperability. Version 6.2 will be available later this month. Pricing will be in the seven-figure range, officials said.
