Network Solutions Chairman Joins SpaceWorks Board
Rockville, MD -- January 20, 2000 -- SpaceWorks, Inc.®, the leading business-to- business sell-side Web commerce software company, today announced that the SpaceWorks Board of Directors yesterday approved the appointment of Michael Daniels, Chairman of Network Solutions, to the SpaceWorks Board.
Mr. Daniels has served as Chairman of the Board for Network Solutions since 1995 and is currently employed as a senior vice president for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). A leader in the Washington-area technology industry since 1986, he brings to SpaceWorks more than 25 years of high-tech experience and a proven track record of building high- growth businesses.

Daniels became Chairman of Network Solutions in March, 1995, acquiring Network Solutions on behalf of SAIC and in 1997, led the company through a successful IPO. Daniels has been a champion for Virginia's technology industry since he joined SAIC in 1986. He served as Chairman of the Northern Virginia Technology Council from 1997-1998 and is also a founding member of the Board of Directors of the Potomac Knowledgeway.
