GE Equity Senior Vice President Joins SpaceWorks

Rockville, MD -- April 5, 2000 -- SpaceWorks, Inc.®, the leading business-to- business sell-side Web commerce software company today announced that the SpaceWorks Board of Directors approved the appointment of Keith Miller, Senior Vice President of GE Equity, to the SpaceWorks board. The approval came during the SpaceWorks Board of Directors meeting on March 24th.

Mr. Miller has been with General Electric for more than 10 years spending the prior nine leading GE Aircraft Engines' business development function that included acquisitions, dispositions, and partnerships. This past year, Mr. Miller served as Senior Vice President of GE Equity's Technology and Communications Group. In February, GE Equity took the lead in a $15.3 million investment stake in SpaceWorks.

Prior to working with GE, Mr. Miller was a consultant with Strategic Planning Associates (now part of Mercer Consulting), providing management consulting on competitive product strategy, acquisitions, and cost reductions for clients in a variety of industries including Aerospace, Banking and Power Generation. He also has served as a Product Marketing Manager in Hewlett Packard's Optoelectronics Operation. Mr. Miller has a Bachelor of Engineering Science from Johns Hopkins in Baltimore and an MBA from Wharton in Philadelphia.
