SpaceWorks To Collaborate With Intel On e-Commerce Project

Rockville, MD and Santa Clara, CA -- July 22, 1999 -- SpaceWorks, Inc., the experienced leader in business-to-business sell-side Web commerce software, today announced that it will collaborate with Intel Corporation on a software project aimed at providing the business market with new capabilities for implementing E-commerce with their direct and indirect channels.

Under terms of the agreement, the two companies will devote resources to create new applications for automating business-to-business , sales-to-order transactions on the Web. SpaceWorks plans to announce the commercial release of the first of such applications in the fourth quarter.

According to Forrester Research, the market for Internet commerce "sell-side" software is projected to reach $1.4 billion by 2002.
