SpaceWorks and Novazen (Now Solant) Announce B2B Web Technology Alliance

Under OEM Agreement, Novazen Internet Billing Platform Provides Key Component for SpaceWorks BillingManager™ Software

ROCKVILLE, MD and BOULDER, CO -- March 29, 2000 -- SpaceWorks, Inc.®, the leading business-to-business sell-side Web commerce software company and Novazen, Inc.™, provider of an advanced Internet-based software suite for electronic bill presentment and payment (EBPP), bill consolidation and Internet Customer Care (ICC), today announced an agreement for SpaceWorks to integrate and resell Novazen's EBPP solutions. SpaceWorks will integrate Novazen's Internet billing software as the key component of SpaceWorks BillingManager - a new, optional module in the SpaceWorks Web BusinessManager Suite. SpaceWorks Global 2000 clients currently using SpaceWorks OrderManager® will be able to offer their business customers real-time invoice management, bill consolidation and payment over the Internet.

The SpaceWorks BillingManager software module continues SpaceWorks ongoing strategy of partnering with best-of-breed technology vendors for the delivery of enhanced B2B e-Commerce functions for OrderManager, the core of SpaceWorks Web BusinessManager Suite. With the addition of BillingManager to the suite, users OrderManager can run business billing processes over the Web, and more efficiently and cost-effectively complete the order-to-payment cycle.

In addition, billing data can be consolidated from numerous sources into a single invoice - and can be automatically updated as new products and services are added, ensuring "one-stop shopping," a single point of contact for complete billing data. The BillingManager module, which will incorporate Novazen's billing software, will also include a browser-based interface consistent with other modules in the Web BusinessManager Suite. SpaceWorks also will provide XML-based integration links from its OrderManager application to BillingManager for seamless operation.
