BFGoodrich Performance Materials Licenses SpaceWorks OrderManager® for Business-to-Business Web Commerce

Rockville, MD -- August 21, 2000 -- SpaceWorks, Inc.®, a leading business-to-business (B2B) sell-side Web commerce software company, today announced that BFGoodrich Performance Materials, the specialty chemicals business of The BFGoodrich Company (NYSE: GR), has licensed SpaceWorks OrderManager to establish a B2B Web-based sales channel.

BFGoodrich Performance Materials will utilize OrderManager to facilitate real- time sales transactions with its numerous global manufacturing clients including leading producers of textiles, consumer and plastic products. OrderManager will enable Performance Materials' business customers to place orders for a variety of specialty chemicals and polymers such as adhesives and coatings, specialty plastics and polymeric additives, 24x7, with up-to-the- minute order tracking, inventory look-up, account history and shipment tracking. The SpaceWorks-enabled e-Business site will replace manual, phone, and paper-based ordering processes, giving business customers direct, Web-based access to key product, pricing and account information.
